Bauhaus 4AD with Richard Vergez When visual and sound artist – and returning guest – Richard Vergez discovered the 4AD EP as a young art student it opened up a brand new world of dark, expressive sound for him. We went heavy on the black eyeliner and dove deep into this collection of early singles by Northampton Goth pioneers Bauhaus to unearth the poetic beauty buried just beneath the ruckus.

We sat down with previous TRGMH guest, guitarist Juan Montoya (Moon Destroys, MonstrO, Torche…), to reflect on the music and legacy of Eddie Van Halen. Whether you are a super-fan or just casually acquainted with Van Halen’s music, the influence he had on guitar players and rock music in general for the past 40+ years cannot be overstated. R.I.P. This week's patient brought in for an examination is Stereolab's 1996 Emperor Tomato Ketchup. Local "Boys Giant" 'zine maven Nate Levine first heard the album while living with a model in Barcelona. Barry first heard it while living in Athens, GA. Rob isn't sure when he first, or last heard it.
