In the late '80s, Big Dipper released four records on the very hip Homestead label, which won them critical acclaim and a decent-sized fan base in the US and Europe. When their Homestead contract expired, the band looked for a new label that could get them to the mythical 'next level'. Big Dipper signed to Epic.
