Happy 60th Birthday to our guest Steve Michener, whose appearance on the show marks either the last episode of Season 3, or the first of Season 4. It's that thing where the 20th century was all 1900s, you know? Steve brings one of the greatest debut albums there is, if not THE, then certainly in THE TOP .1%, like Bryan Ferry's societal aspirations. Roxy Music burst out of the gate with an incredible new sound, something eventually christened "Art Rock." Birthday cake for you, and you, and you!

Steve Michener Profile Photo

Steve grew up in the fertile music scene of Boston in the 80s where he was an itinerant bassist for many a band, perhaps least-famously, Big Dipper. Since then, he has retired from the music business and moved to the West Coast to become an RN but still searches out exciting music, new and old, if only to sneer at it.
