Matt Devine

Avocational musician, dad, husband, and Wheaten-Lhasa Apso whisperer. Matt Devine has made music with the Los Angeles bands Ventilator, Permanent Green Light, Medicine, Possum Dixon, and GospelbeacH. Bar/None Records reissued Ventilator’s debut album, Reseda Spleen, in October 2026. Originally released in 1996, the album was self-recorded by Matt on a Tascam 388 eight-track set up in the second bedroom of his North Hollywood apartment. Tape Op founder Larry Crane, in a 1998 review, deemed the record “power pop of the highest order.”
