Marc Masters is a writer who contributes to The Wire, Bandcamp Daily, and Pitchfork. His work has previously been featured in The Washington Post, The Village Voice, Spin, Rolling Stone, NPR, and others. His first book, No Wave, was published in 2008. He's currently working on a book about the history of the cassette tape.
