Australia’s new wave/neo-psychedelic band The Church leaned into the dream pop for their 1985 release “Heyday”, adding strings and horns to their already heady brand of shimmering indie guitar rock. This week’s guest, Milwaukie, Oregon resident Matthew Kenneth, was left “Tantalized” by this record, and although initially hesitant we eventually succumbed to its charms as well.
