S3E129 - Yes "Fragile" with Matt Wilson (Trip Shakespeare)

This week’s guest, Minneapolis singer/songwriter Matt Wilson (Trip Shakespeare, The Twilight Hours), brought us a record that he discovered late and became obsessed with despite himself: Yes’ prog-rock breakthrough “Fragile”.
 On paper it’s not obvious why this dense, meticulously played collection of “song-suites” would appeal to his more indie-pop sensibilities, but appeal it did and the three of us dive headfirst into the musical maelstrom that is this record. “Dream on onto the Heart of the Sunrise…”
